2. Scope of Work
-
All work will be carried out according to the written quotation or
agreed specification.
-
Any additional work requested after acceptance of the quotation
will be treated as a variation and may incur additional charges.
-
Heritage Plastercraft specialises in traditional,
hand‑crafted plasterwork; natural variations in finish,
texture, and appearance are inherent to the craft and not
considered defects.

-
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
-
Prices are based on the information provided at the time of
quoting.
-
If unforeseen conditions arise (e.g., hidden structural issues,
damp, rot, or previous poor workmanship), we reserve the right to
revise the quotation.
- VAT will be applied where applicable.
4. Deposits & Payment Terms
- A deposit may be required before work commences.
-
Payment terms will be stated on the invoice. Unless otherwise
agreed, payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.
-
Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of
Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:

Ensure the site is safe, structurally sound, and free from

-
Obtain any necessary permissions, listed‑building consents,
or planning approvals.
6. Workmanship & Materials
-
All work is carried out using traditional methods and
high‑quality materials appropriate to heritage restoration.
-
Materials remain the property of Heritage Plastercraft until paid
for in full.
-
We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from completion,
excluding damage caused by misuse, structural movement, moisture
ingress, or third‑party interference.
7. Access, Delays & Cancellations
-
If access is restricted or the site is not ready, we may charge
for lost time or rescheduling.
-
If the client cancels work after acceptance of the quotation,
reasonable costs may be charged for materials, labour, or time
already committed.

We are not liable for delays caused by weather, supplier issues,

We are not responsible for:
- Pre‑existing damage or defects
